Referential integrity in Servoy solutions

Would it be too much for a Servoy solution to have an (internal) reference table for named objects (forms, tables, columns, methods, calculations, globals, aggregations, datasources, etc).
This way when you rename an object the integrity of your solution stays intact.
At least this would take care of a LOT of the code in your solution.
I know methods code is another matter because of the dynamic nature methods can have.

Other platforms like FileMaker Pro are famous for this behavior.
It would be a very strong selling point for Servoy to support it too.

Also this way we also can do some serious prototyping in Servoy.

yes we already can do that for the most part.
But there is one big exception and that are methods… Because there we have free form text which can contains formnames, calculations,globals ect.
We will try to handle those as good as possible when we rewrite search and replace for the next version.
