I use a remote computer/browser to administrate a servoy server.
This goes well with, when I am patient enough, the correct result…
Why mention the patience thing one could say!? Well, closing down the server or uploading a new revision always stops giving feedback except for a timeout in the case of a revision. As a result I can’t be certain if closing down the server or uploading the new soluiton/revision went well…
Can you correct this? It is really an issue to me…
Are you talking about the “blank” screen you see when uploading a solution? In a way - this IS feedback. If there was an animated gif or something there… it would be the same but you would just see a graphic.
When it’s DONE importing - then you get a response (including errors, if any).
I am talking about the web admin (just to be sure that we are talking about the same thing here).
When I upload a new solution somewhere along the line the server stops reporting what it is doing.
Even when there are fields to be added in 9 out of 10 cases I see this only in the beginning and then the reporting stops. I also never got back any reply that the upload was ready…
The nice thing is that it only went (terribly) wrong once…

Hmmmmm… I’ve never seen that behaviour. When I upload (either to local machine, LAN or WAN) - I always get back an indication of whether it was successful or not.
The screen IS blank during import (see below - it’s the one behind) - but when done - I see the screen on top.
