Qrcodes are fast becoming the standard barcode here in Japan and from what I read it’s picking up in America, Google is interested in it. I can see a need for it here in the future.

I found one commercial library for this so far.
I also found an open source project but at first glance this looks more like an application instead of libraries that can be integrated.
I have contacted the developer of the commercial libraries.
We could implement it in our barcode plugin.
