Resolving domain name and 8080 port on Mac Xserve

http://xxx.xxx.xx.xx:8080/ currently works just fine. http://mydomain.com/ finds the machine and puts up a web page just fine.

But http://mydomain.com:8080/ produces nothing.

It stands to reason the domain needs to be told to go to the Servoy Server when port 8080 is accessed. Can anyone point to relevant documentation?

My co-location host is all Windows and Linux people. I have the only Mac OS X Serve in the room. They can’t help. I’ve posted to Mac support forums and the inhabitants there say talk to Servoy.

Problem solved. The co-locator was pointing the domain to their cluster rather than to the machine itself.
