rollbackEditedRecords() for a specific record

Wouldn’t it be good to be able to rollback the changes for a selected record only?
We can save a specific record but rollback works for all unsaved records altogether which is sometimes not desirable.
Has this feature been considered for future development?

this is not really hard to do in autosave off.
So please make a case for this.

Has this been implemented? How can we cancel/rollback changes for specific records (we do work with autosave turned off)?
