Hi,
I need to do a ‘temporary’ fix. I have a current application that is running 3.5 on a Windows XP machine. That solution has been rewritten to Servoy 6 but is not yet quite ready so I have to keep the 3.5 one going. Meanwhile I’ve developed a new solution in 6 that I would like to deploy ‘temporarily’. By that I mean the main Oracle database holding the data for that is going to be moved. When that happens I will deploy this from a secure server behind a major firewall here but I can’t do that yet. So for the short term I would like to deploy both of these on this Windows XP machine, one running Servoy 3.5 (which is already running) with Sybase 10 as the repository and then also this new solution running Servoy 6 with Postgres as the repository. Is that possible to do? On a windows machine doesn’t Servoy install the Server application (Settings/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services/Servoy Application Server) and won’t the new one overwrite the old one? Any help greatly appreciated! (Was hoping to ask this question at Servoy Camp but once again couldn’t make it…)
