Scanner Pro plugin in linux

Hi
We are developing a Linux server solution with smart client windows clients.
We use the Scanner Pro plugin. When used with Windows development functions fine, but when we got the solution to the linux server clients do not work.
The Scanner Pro plugin is already installed on linux server with a trial license from Morena library.
What do I need to work on smart client and linux server?
Thanks and excuse my English.

We had the same issue, look at al the filenames inside the scanner plugin jnlp file!
There were some file names not right, in a case sensative way

ON windows this is not a problem, but linux is case sensative!

Hi Harjo,

could you point out exactly what is wrong with the jnlp, please?
Looking at it I see all jars in lowercase which is correct.

@Roberto: I would rather think that this is a compatibility problem.
For Linux, the plugin is using SANE implementation, whether your scanner has a ‘SANE server’ and whether it is compatible with the library will make a difference.

Patrick, I was using the plugin, before it went opensource, In that version, there was something wrong in the jnlp, I see indeed that the opensource version, is oke…

Roberto is only refering here, to Linux server! (with windows clients) so there should be no difference if you deploy it on a windows or linux server…

There shouldn’t be, so maybe there is a problem with signing or packing, but I cannot provide the license.jar so I cannot sign all the jars…
Meaning that you will have to resign all the jars yourself providing your own certificate.
