What OS and Servoy version are you talking about here.
Do you see anything in the server log that is in the application_server dir (or if you use < 4.0 in the Servoy dir).
If you are using Sybase do you see anything in the Sybase log ? Also is Sybase running ?
After 6 hours, we got our server back up. It boiled down to our server.properties file being corrupt somehow.
So, everytime we reinstalled or tried on another server instance, it kept failing because we were dropping in the old properties file.
Lessons learned;
Use a backup copy of the properties file.
Try this first before trying other installations and other server instances
As we all should know by now, it’s usually something very simple.
I did make a copy of the log and could get that do you as we’d like to know if there’s a way to prevent the original spike in java which caused our lock up in the first place.
