Into the Servoy folder of a customer of mine I noticed that the file .service_log is 2.143.551 kb!
Is it normal? What is that file for?
Shall I delete it or reduce it in some way and how to avoid its growing?
Are you running with tracing enabled? or what is in the log?
You can always delete the log before the server is started
When I installed servoy there, I left default settings; is tracing enable a default setting?
Where in case can I disable tracing?
I cannot open the file, is too big…
It’s default not enabled, to check: stop the server(when possible) delete the log,start the server and check the log file contents when users are using the server again.
I had a similar experience and discovered three copies of Java installed on the server, one from Sun and others from other sources. Just thought I’d throw that in as an idea…
