Servoy 2.1 beta 2 and pdf_plugin

I am unable to print to the pdf_plugin in. I get this error:

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.servoy.j2db.util.Utils.getAWriteFile(Ljava/awt/Component;Ljava/lang/String;Z)Ljava/io/File;

You can get that if you don’t specifiy a file to the pdf printer. It will be fixed in an upcoming version. The PDF printer plugin is now maintained by Rumora (also known for their SQL Plugin Mac port for FMP) and will be available very soon.

Dear Servoy developers,

please find included in this post the latest version of the PDF Plugin
for Servoy 2.1. The plugin will not work with older Servoy versions.

I am glad to hear Rumora Automatisering will be in charge of development on this plug-in. The FMP plug-ins they sell have worked well.

Branko, thanks for the pdf plugin. however on the mac I have the following issues:

old plugin, 2.0.3 and os x generates a corrupted pdf file…
new plugin, 2.1b2 and os x generates no file at all…

I hope you can solve this…

would you be so kind and send me the .log.txt file that lives in the
/Application/Servoy/ folder? It would be helpful if you also send me a sample code from your method that is printing the PDF file. Another relevant information would be your OS X and Java versions, developer preview version if installed. You can send the info to me off-list.

Just for the information both “old” and “new” plugins are working on the systems I tested, OS X 10.2.8 up to 10.3.4 with both Java 1.4.1 and 1.4.2. Please note that “old” plugin does not work with Servoy 2.1 and that “new” plugin does not work with Servoy 2.0.
