Servoy 2024.3.7 LTS

We are pleased to announce the availability of Servoy 2024.3.7_LTS (release number 3950)

See 2024.3.7_lts_fixes for the list of fixes for this release since 2024.3.6

This version is available through the download site

This release will replace the 2023 lts release, as the “older” LTS, so the update site is changed to “lts_2024”, and there won’t come any updates on the “lts_2023” anymore.

The main “LTS” url will become 2025.3.x

or through the update site URL: http://download.servoy.com/developer/lts_2024
If you want to use the LTS release enable the above LTS update site and disable the ‘latest’ update site so you only update to LTS updates.

You are strongly recommended to move over to one of the supported branches (2023.03 LTS or 2024.03 LTS or 2024 Latest)

For solutions that are already in production it is a good idea to stick to this version (2024.3.x) or be on the 2023.3. x release

This is the last release that has support for SmartClient and Webclient

@jcompagner We still have this issue with the license keys we try to add in the Servoy Admin, after a restart the license keys are gone.

We use WAR deployment file without license keys so it is usable for multiple clients, so we would like to set the license in the Admin after the installation.

I saw this ticket mentioned in Servoy 2024.03.6_LTS - #13 by jcompagner
Did that fix not make it to this release?

that case was not backported to 24 stream i see

i cherry picked it now it should be in the .8 release

[SVY-20273] Servoy Server loses license codes on startup - Servoy Support

But this is better not todo through the admin page, a war should be self contained and running, so if you really can’t give them inside the WAR then it is better to use environment or system properties to feed them in.
