We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Servoy 5.2.17 release (releaseNumber 1030).
IMPORTANT: This release addresses a security vulnerability, it is strongly recommended to update to this version :!:

This version is available through the download option on the Servoy website and auto update.
Always make a backup of your current Servoy installation (directory and database) before installing/upgrading.
To update a Servoy eclipse open “Check for updates” via help menu.

The issues addressed, since Servoy 5.2.16 release:

Client Changes
[fix] SVY-5184 In Smart Client we get rejected unauthenticated access
[fix] SVY-5309 Upgraded to V1.7.0_45 Java and get the following warnings
[fix] SVY-4714 Java update to V1.7.0_25 causes Manifest warnings in Servoy components
[fix] SVY-4255 Typeahead with valuelist by method shows faulty realValue when in find mode

Client Changes
[fix] SVY-4028 Strange table view form column header in Servoy web client
[fix] SVY-4270 onDataChange is fired twice for a valuelist in webclient

Server Changes
[fix] SVY-4367 Wrong database after close->cancel with switched server

I am getting ‘Nothing to update’ in my 5.2.16 developer “Check for updates”

Has a date or timeframe been set for when version 5.2.x is going to be end of life?

No, no plans either, more will be clear if we get closer to Servoy 8 final release.
Since Servoy 5.2.x does not officially support Java 7 or 8 it might be unusable (smartclient wise) before we actually declare it end of live.
