With the arrival of 64-bit for the Apple G5, and variuous unix flavours (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX) already being capable of handling native 64-bit, i
am wondering if Servoy server (and/or client) will be ported sometime to
use 64-bit?
Since Oracle's oci can be called either with the 32-bit or 64-bit
libraries, what's Servoy using at the moment?
It only depends on your JVM (Java Virtual Machine). If the JVM is 64 bit, so will Servoy be 64 bit. I don't know if Apple's JVM is 64 bit. On Sun Solaris you can get a 64 bit JVM, our demo server runs on 64-bit JVM. http://demo.servoy.com:8080/
