Hi, Everybody.

Hi Wilson,
You can install Servoy on a 64-bit platform in the same manner as on a 32-bit platform, i.e. just run the installer. Of course it does require a 64-bit Java environment, make sure that is installed.
Hope this helps.
And what’s the best option if you have a 64-bit SO?
On a 64 bit OS install the 64 bit version of Java. Than run the Servoy installer. It will install (in case of Windows server) a 64bit version of the wrapper (needed to install Servoy as a windows service)
Our production server has a 64-bit OS, but I installed 32-bit java. Servoy runs fine on it. We are going to move Servoy to another server (with a 64-bit OS, too), so I’m thinking about install 64-bit java and then the 64-bit version of Servoy. As I said, servoy runs fine with the 32-bit version of java, does servoy run better with 64-bit version?
The advantage is that you can assign more than approx. 1,5GB of RAM to the Servoy process
OK!
hi,
Thanks for answering. ROCLASI, Harjo and Juan
I’ve been having an error in installation, it is necessary to first install the java 64 before Servoy.
Servoy will automatically determine if it is 32 or 64 bit installation?
or I have to do some extra configuration before / during / after installation?
Thank you very much.
You only need to install java 32 or java 64 before Servoy, it will detect the version and install the proper version of wrapper
