new install win 7 64 bit java 32 bit

I am getting an error message at step 10/10:
invalid type code 6C.

I tried downloading 3 times the 5,2,8 installer.exe always get to the same point and get this error but sometimes the code is different.
I specify c:\servoy5 as the install folder.
I use an admin login user to do the install.

I also tried the cross platform installer (jar file) and it too fails.

Using win 7 pro, 64 bit OS with 32 bit Java.

I had also tried with 64 bit java and it too failed.

How can I be sure what version of the Java works with win 7 64 bit and with the appropriate Servoy installer?

Hi Tom,

for me Servoy 5.2.8 on Win7 Pro 64 bit and Java 64 bit works without any problems. I always download the .jar installer of Servoy.
You should download the “jre-6u24-windows-x64.exe” to install the 64 bit Java (Build 1.6.0_24-b07). I think no special settings are needed.
On my PC only the 64 bit Java is running, but by customers I saw the 32 and the 64 bit Java in the Control Panel. Servoy is also running there, but perhaps this is not really perfect.

thanks for this.
I had tried already all the combinations.
I will try again - I have the x64 and the 32bit java installed in the Program Files folder and the Program Files (x86) folder.
I shall see if setting the PATH to only the x64 bit folder will help.
