Servoy 8.3 don't launch on macOS 10.13.4

I have downloaded and installed the new Servoy 8.3 Developer on my iMac (macOS 10.13.4, Java 1.8.0_151).
In the Application direction is now the Eclipse.app instead of Servoy.app (if I upgrade from 8.2.3 to 8.3 the Servoy.app is still there).
When doubleclicking the Eclipse.app the Servoy Developer stuck while starting.
Launch of Servoy 8.3 Developer is working by: Eclipse.app > Contents > MacOS > servoy.

Yes, Servoy 8.3 now uses Eclipse.app since the upgrade to Eclipse 4.7.
But it should launch fine. Tested it on Mac with Java 1.8 update 172, also with Java 1.9, and both macOs 10.13.3 and 10.13.4 and couldn’t reproduce the issue, Developer starts fine.
Do you have something in the log files?

Hi Thomas,

I did a clean install of 8.3 on macOS 10.13.4 with Java 8 update 171 and it works fine here as well.
Perhaps it’s hanging on something in the workspace? What you could try is to rename your default namespace and create a new directory with the original name. Then launch Developer. If it works fine you know there is something in the workspace that 8.3 doesn’t like.

As for the application name. You can just create an alias and rename that one (I place these renamed aliases in the Dock so I know what version it is).

Hope this helps

Robert, you’re right! The workspace was causing the issue on Servoy 8.3 launch.

About the Eclipse.app, it doesn’t matter. I only was wondering a little bit.
