I have been toying with Servoy product for the last couple of weeks (unfortunately only in those ‘in-between’ times when I have managed to steal the opportunity to explore and experiment.)

I had been searching for ‘how to set up a MS SQL 2000 Server’ link and this morning I checked the FAQ area on the Servoy website where it tells you how…

An idiot like me had it set up and working within twenty minutes !

Servoy is, so far, a wonderful tool that I am enjoying working with immensely !

It is certainly not the ‘finished article’ yet but this leads me neatly towards publicly saying what a fantastic job the whole team at Servoy is doing.

Being an avid reader of all the forum areas, I must say that the response to questions, bugs and enhancements (particularly the speed of inclusion of fixes and enhancements) is tremendous.

Keep up the good work - It’s a pleasure to see this level of software company/developer interaction !

I Would like to add to Harry’s praise!

I took a day off last week and converted a small inhouse FileMaker solution to Servoy.

Apart from a few rough edges, and features not implemented yet, Servoy is a very exciting product. I used to build complex (5,000+ lines of code) applications in HyperCard using FileMaker as a data repository, and have never found a good replacement until I discovered Servoy!

Hello all! I have to agree with all the fine comments regarding Servoy. It is by far one of the best products out. I have been a power developer in Filemaker for several years, only to see this product and want to jump ship.

I use to develop in ACI 4D - however, we circum to the ease of Filemaker - Now there is Servoy. The power of a programming tool, the use of the web, and the interface ease of Filemaker.

A tremendous product, I look forward to porting my manufacturing applications to Servoy.
