Servoy startup problem

Hi,

A newbie so please forgive me if this old hat.

I double click servoy, it starts up to the servoy splash screen and thats it. it sits there for ever.

Bottom left it says application server init, Bottom right the little bar going beck and forth, and I can not get to any of the menu items. I have no idea what to do next :-(

Make sure ports 8080 and 1099 are not being blocked by a firewall. Check to see if you have multiple versions of Java installed. If you do, uninstall them all and then reinstall the right version.

Also check the Servoy log file in the Servoy application folder and see if it is reporting any errors
