When I try changing browsers in Preferences from the default system browser (Firefox) to, say, Chrome, I get an error when starting the web client. If I try in Chrome to make it the default browser instead of Firefox, the solution still opens Firefox rather than Chrome. This is on Mac OS 10.6.8, Servoy 5.2.11.
Is there a solution to getting it to run with a different browser?
I find that in general on a Mac it doesn’t really work setting the browser to anything other than the system default browser so I always change the system default if I want to test on a different browser. (This on a Mac OS 10.6.. If I try setting it to FireFox for example it works fine IF FireFox isn’t already open. If FireFox is already open I get the attached message instead of a new window or tab. If I try and add a different browser and I click on the applications folder for Eclipse/Servoy to search on, it comes back with ‘FireFox’ three times even though I only have one copy of Firefox and it seems to ignore all the other browsers in that folder.
Okay, I changed my system browser from Firefox to Chrome. It still opened Firefox when I launched the web client.
I then tried changing Eclipse prefs from the default system browser to an external browser (Chrome). When I then tried to launch the web client, I got “invalid thread access” (see attached).
