Smart Client vs Local JRE version

Hi All,

We have a solution hosted on servoy 5.2.2 version and that is executed only on Smart Client because of UI effects and plugings used. (Not properly functioning on Web Client). There we faced for many issues with the client’s JAVA version. If upgraded, with newer JAVA versions jnlp file doesn’t get opened. Do we have any solution for this?

If we upgrade the servoy version to 7 or 8, will this be completely solved?

Any ideas on this matter, please.

And yes, if you upgrade to the latest releases of 7.4.x or 8.x then it is solved. However some third party components may need to be resigned (or upgrade them as well, if possible)
