Hi All
I assume I just made a big error: I pressed the upgrade (or update) button when servoy asked me to. Now I can’t find my solution anymore and in Servoy Preferences > DB Servers I hava a DB icon with a red little deleted icon on the lower right. Did servoy make a backup copy to some place or is it really lost? What is the recommended way of doing backups to avoid that in the future? Export and backup the solutions or the repository or both?
Thanks for help, Robert
Hi Robert,
I have sometimes in the past had problems when upgrading Servoy – the “servoy_properties” file gets overwritten. I use PostgreSQL for the repository, so overwriting the prefs means Servoy will look for the default Sybase repository which is empty…
Maybe something similar has happened to you?
If so, you need to change the repository back and your solution will reappear.
Hope this helps,
Christian

Thanks for your help! It was not the overwritten servoy_properties, but I just had to quit the dbsrv9 process and launch Servoy again, and it sees my solutions again huchhh
I got the idea while checking the servoy_properties and database.config file…
