Running 3.5(final), Java6u2, Window2003 on two different servers, I’ve suddenly developed a problem importing a solution.
I get the "Solution ‘x’ already exists message, trying to import via the server web interface, or developer.
This is a solution I’ve imported before, multiple times. I tried a few different import setting selections, but I’m not having any luck.
What do I need to do to workaround this?
I know the solution exists, after all, I’m trying to import a new version!
Thanks,
greg.

the internal solutionID has changed than!
this can happen if you use: export as
you can first, delete all the versions of your solution, and than import again.
(if you don’t merge)
hope this helps
won’t that mess up my auto-enter sequences?
greg.
Hi Greg,
Auto-enter sequences are stored on the (named) connections in the repository, not on the solution.
Although I don’t know what will happen when you delete the last solution that uses that named connection.
But you can always resync the sequences (dataproviders window or in the admin pages)
Hope this helps.
I renamed the existing solution and re-imported just to be safe. Worked fine.
Thanks for the help!
