Hi all
I have a solution which is coming to a point where I have to split it to go off in two directions. I am sure I’ve done this before without problems but for some reason can’t remember how to do it now…
What I have done is open repository and export solution A to a file called solution B.servoy. I then used Sybase Central to create a new database called solution B.db. Set up sybase.config to open it and then tried to import Solution B in. It obviously tries to import the solution into Solution A.db and I cannot think of how to make it import into Solution B.db.
Any help with my dull and simple problem would be appreciated…

If I understand correctly, why don’t you disable A.db, when you import the solution? When Servoy will ask you what to do, you’ll choose B.db and you should be fine…
Ciao Ric
That is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thank you… Told you it was simple. Duh, I should have thought of it. I reckon hayfever impairs mental faculty.
Thanks again

Hmmmm… Now trying to import this solution I get this error:
com.servoy.j2db.persistence.RepositoryException: Import with XML version 1 is no longer supported. Export the solution again using a newer version of Servoy if possible, otherwise contact Servoy Customer Support.

PS my servoy is:Servoy version R2 2.2.5-build 337, repository version 27, my java is: java.vm.version=1.5.0_06-64
