Sybase Central cannot create database

It’s definitely a bug with Servoy as Sybase Central will create a database using a different server than the servoy_repository server.

Issue summary: you cannot create a new database in the servoy_repository using Sybase Central.

This one I think is not clear

When you say you can’t create a new database inside the servoy_repository database, this seems perfectly normal to me

When you mean you declared a windows service (with the name servoy_repository) and you want to add another database to this service, and you can’t, then I understand there might be a problem.

Is the latter the case ?

“servoy_repository” is the name of both a Sybase server and database so some confusion. Both are installed and used by Servoy. You can and should be able to create a database on/in the Sybase servoy_repository server with the Sybase Central app.

I’ve installed rc6/7 on two separate windows machines since last week and get the same behavior on both. All of my existing installs (mac and pc) don’t have this problem.

I’ve the same problem.
I use Sybase Central of SQL Anywhere 9.
I can create a empty database with Sybase Central.
After that I can’t make it with Servoy.
