sybase SQL 10 as a service

I have created a service for dbsrv10 with Sybase Central on a WinXP pro PC. While starting the service a ‘unknown error’ messages occurs. I made all the settings as discribed in the Servoy Server Docs, but it won’t work.
Any ideas what’s the problem could be.

I found the path to be wrong in the manual. But I still can’t startup the db as a service. See my thread viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11621&p=58072#p58072

Hi Robert,

it is very different to create a sybase SQL service on Mac OS X and Windows. On Windows normally it should be easy to create the service with Sybase Central and the service-assistent. Although I have set the correct path by browsing to the dbsrv.exe (you can’t do anything wrong) and adding the ‘@/…/sybase.config’ parameter path I always get an error message while starting the service.
