tab in a text area?

In a text area you cann use the “enter” key no problem.
How do you add a “tab” insite the text area field ?

somehow the CTRL-TAB to insert a tab char in the text area is broken or not working anymore
We already have a case to look into that.

i just tested it in 5.2 but CTRL-TAB works fine for me in a TextArea field

I am running 5.1.4. and I’m not to eager to update to 5.2, is it only solved in 5.2 then?

i checked when this was fixed and that is last year October
So it is already in the code from 5.0.x on

I tested it with IE, Chrome and Firefox but it really isn’t working in version 5.1.4??

where are talking here about the Smartclient
Not the web. That is the browser/os that handles that
And yes placing a tab in text area is not possible (for example this input field, where i type this post, is also a text area and that will not work. CTRL-TAB is even something that FF handles it self for switching tabs)
