tabpanels, portals and fgcolors or bgcolors

I have some tabpanels en portals.

Depending on their value I want to give records/fields a signalling color.

In FM I would have done that with a container field as background.

Do I have to do it like that in Servoy or is there another way?

What I would like to do most is give the foreground another value. However when I change the foreground upon recordSelect all records get that new value…

yes this is a limitation of portals and or list/table views.
If you set something to an element it is on that element for every record.
