Editing tooltips and text in de edit property box goes fine exept if you
change your mind and don’t want to use a tooltip/text after all.
Backspacing deletes the tooltip/text in the property box, no problem so far.
But if you OK the empty box the tooltip/text still shows up in the properties and has to
be deleted overthere!
Is this expected behaviour?
I got a message from Servoy that the case is closed because it is not reproduceable…
I still think it is a bug, and also Marcel confirmed this as a bug.
Maybe I did not explain the issue properly or they find it expected behaviour.
Marcel would you be so kind to file a case please?
I couldn’t reproduce this problem. Can you post some screenshots ? Are you using mac ? I understand this occurs when editing via dialog with “Edit text property” title?
This is what I did.
I hope you now will be able to reproduce it.
Place a label on a form
Open the Text Edit Property Box
Delete ‘type’ and click OK button
‘type’ still exists in label and in the Properties Panel!
Select ‘type’ in properties panel and delete or backspace.
Now ‘type’ is gone.
My point is that imho ‘type’ should not only have been deleted in the
Edit Property Box (3) but in the Properties Panel as well.
In this example I did not change the default ‘type’, but the same goes
for any other text typed.
Tooltips: same behaviour.
I use XP SP3, As far as I know Marcel is on OSX.
