TreeView and MediaManager beta's for Servoy 4 released

Today we released the first beta versions of our TreeView Bean and MediaManager Bean for Servoy 4.

The MediaManager Beans enable selection, import and export of files to database records and/or the server filesystem though drag 'n drop.

The MediaManager Beans are in fact a combination of two Beans and a Plug-in.

With the MediaManager Beans and Plug-in you can:
playback movie and mp3 data using OS-native applications or JMF (Java Media Framework)
open resources from URLs, files and the database records
update the current record with media data via a Drag 'n Drop Bean
stream files to the server filesystem via a Drag 'n Drop Bean

See our product pages Servoy Components – Plugins, Beans, Web Components, Angular Services & Servoy Developer Consulting for more information.

The TreeView Bean is a Servoy bean that allows you to create hierarchical Tree Views of your data.

Existing (parent, child and foreign) records are easily added, via drag and drop or a popup menu, to the Tree View Bean.
New records can be created from within the Bean;
Existing records in the tree can be edited using the internal editor;
Nodes and sub-trees can be moved from one parent node to another;
Control access to the various add/edit/delete/move functions from your Servoy method;
Grant access to the User to control the editor parameters;
Metadata for the tree view is managed for you via the Bean;
Add formatting information without changing your original data;
