I’ve recently started playing with the treeview bean. I’m getting an error saying it isn’t signed. What can I do to fix this? Do I need to sign it myself or will it be signed by signed by a certificate in the future?

As far as I know there is a signed version.
Where did you get your download from?
Anyway, you might consider signing the jars yourself.
Otherwise users will get signature dialogs for each differently signed component in your installation.
