I have a number of form in dialogs that use drop down type ahead fields. Since releasing my solution in 5.2x a number of my users have reported these drop down lists persisting on screen when opening another FID. I can reproduce this effect by:
Opening a FID
clicking into a type ahead field to drop the list
don’t close the list by clicking out of the field or tabbing
close the FID by clicking the close icon widget in window
open a different FID and you should see the valuelist suspended on screen attached to nothing!
This only seems an issue for type ahead fields not comboboxes, the only way to fix the effect is a restart of client.
