Unable to start Servoy Developer - Could not open client err

Servoy Developer opens and then errors out with a “Could not open client” message.

Only change is down loading and installing Sybase Studio 9 / Sybase Central.

I did a fresh download and reinstall of Servoy thinking that might resolve the matter; I did not.

A quick review of documentation has not given me any idea what the propblem may be or how to resolve.

Error log indicated sybase port conflict
A full system reboot resolved, although a Task Manager scan and process shut down would have likely accomplished the same
