I have one form(tabled locked view) with a title-header and a body.
in the header there is a list of all my clients, and in het title-header I display the same information with more details. So I have a detailed and a list-view in oneform (pretty nice I think! ) but the problem is, dat if I change a value in the title-header, it is not always updated in the list-below. Sometimes it is, sometimes it is not!
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?
I use the same functionallity in serveral solutions without a problem, can we have a look at the solution?
I have been teasing around, and it is re-producable!:
lets for say: you have detailed view in title-header en list(table-locked) view in the body.
First tab in a field, in the listview, so that the cursor is blinking in (for example) field: name
than put the cursor in the same field, but than in the title-header.
Put some text behind the name.
Than push a button that goes to the next or previous record.
Now the list-view is not updated!!
Can you reproduce it?
Hello? Anyone?
How do you get 2 list views? I normally have one listview/tableview in the body and some record detail fields in the footer.
I don’t have 2 listviews!
I have a list-view in the body and some record-detail in the title-header.
If you do exactly this:
First tab in a field, in the listview, so that the cursor is blinking in (for example) field: name
than put the cursor in the same field, but than in the title-header.
Put some text behind the name.
Than push a button that goes to the next or previous record.
Now the list-view is not updated!!
than you see!
Maybe this is something else but I too have an update/refres error (OS X):
I have a portal on a form and a tabpanel.
Under one of the tabs I have a new tabpanel with the content that forms the basis of two calculated fields for the portal.
One of the calculations is based on dataproviders in the same table. Only when I do a ‘controller.relookup’ the content of the portal is refreshed.
The other calculation is based on related table data(providers). In this case the content of the portal doesn’t refresh. I have to close/reopen the solution (or do twice) to see the correct content.
This is not really what I expect from calculations…
Ciao,

We just fixed a bug in tableview (NOT in listview) which did indeed not update when selecting anoter record with a method.
will be availeble in next build
