I have servoy 6.1.1 running in a win 7 vm on my iMac. I have tried to run the updater for 6.1.2(help → check for updates)many times, and it detects an update, but stalls out when I try to install it. I ran wireshark to see what it going on, and my vm is sending tcp window size 0 to the eclipse update server while trying to download content.jar. - so looks to me like eclipse is not pulling data out of the receive buffer. Has anyone had this issue before? Is there a setting i can tweak in Eclipse? Any suggestions?
I had similar experience on win 7 . But I let it go for one more day and retried (closed developer and restarted basically) and then it was ok.
Have you tried again?
The error you get is from the Eclipse update site… You should disable all other update sites and keep only Servoy.
Got to “Window > Preferences”, then “Install/Update > Available Software Sites” and deselect all but “Servoy update site” then run “Help > Check for Updates” again.
pretty much everything is shipped by servoy itself, (the update site of servoy does contain all eclipse plugins that we need)
the only thing is if you install some other plugins then you do need the eclipse update sites because it needs some extra plugins from eclipse itself.
So sometimes they need to be enabled.
The thing is that i think i did see an email passing by that they explained the outage that eclipse.com had… So i guess you are just experiencing that
