Upgrade Servoy 2 with SQL Server repository to Servoy 3

Hall,

We have the following Servoy setup:

  1. Servoy2 with SQL Server Repository.
  2. Servoy 3 with Sybase Repository.

I exported the Solution from Servoy 3 and would like to import it into Servoy2, but it looks like I need to upgrade Servoy 2 to Servoy 3.

How can I upgrade Servoy 2 with SQL Server repository to Servoy 3 and import the exported Solution.

What is the proper way to do this?

How can I upgrade Servoy 2 with SQL Server repository to Servoy 3 and import the exported Solution.

Create a new 3.0 installation and add the databases, sybase config and servoy config files to the new directory. Obviously you close down Servoy 2.0 and stop the database before you do this.

When everything went well you will see a dialog telling you to upgrade the repository. Say yes and you should be set to go.

Make sure to create a backup!!!
