Quick simple question for you all. I upgraded to 2.2.4 from 2.2.3 in my servoy apps server. However, how do i push that upgrade out to the clients. when the clients log in, and i do help–>about, it still says 2.2.3? am i missing something simple?
back to this question, I put a new bean on the server but it won’t work anywhere else except on Developer runned on the server itself.
1)I’ve put a new bean on the C:\Program Files\Servoy\beans folder on the server.
2)I then started (mutiple times) the service. I tried running client on it, everything works but the bean. Also, I have Servoy Developer installed on another machine(machineb), everything works but the bean as well.
It’s so wierd that othe bean only works on developer on the server itself. Nowhere else. What am i doing wrong? do I have to put the bean on the developer of “machineb” as well? how do i clear the cache of the java client?
When you place a bean - it must be in the “beans” folder of the Server. Then you need to restart the Application Server.
To clear the Java WebStart cache - open the “Java” control panel and click the “Delete Files…” in the “Temporary Internet Settings” section at the bottom of the dialog.
