Variable fields to be always editable

Hi

I created a form with fields on the header with the data source as predefined variables
what I would like to do is have these fields always editable, not having to click the edit button
these fields will than be used to set filters on the datasource

any ideas on how to do this

In the CTRl+1 in the navigation properties, each program in the tab properties have an option than says no readonly, if you check the form is always in edit mode
