WebNotifications Not Included in Export?

PROBLEM
WebNotification Service Package isn’t being included in a file (.servoy) export.

STEPS

  1. Include WebNotifications Service Package in the Main Solution
  2. Add code in Main Solution that implements the WebNotifications plugin.
  3. File Export the Main Solution
  4. Import the .servoy file into a new workspace
  5. Install the included Service Packages
  6. Run NG Client

RESULT
WebNotifications isn’t included in the ‘included Service Packages’ step for some reason. It just doesn’t even exist on that selection page. Thus, once you run the NG Client and encounter where WebNotifications are supposed to be, it just errors out.

COMMENTS
So while we can manually re-install the WebNotifications, there really shouldn’t be a reason why they aren’t just included anyways.

This is worrisome too because I’m not sure if this also effects WAR exports. Thus implying there isn’t a way to get this feature to the customers.

When you are exporting a .servoy file, do you check the option to “export referenced servoy packages” ?

That must be it! I must of forgotten that setting, I’ll report back after I test a new export.
