How can i manage sybase 9.0.2 on an inel mac if sybase central only works at version 10?
I just want to save myself the migration effort for now and move my clients app from mac parallels for windows onto the mac desktop.

I use Aqua Data Studio for that.
The only thing you can not do is create new Databases but you can do that with command line tools.
BTW why don’t you simply use the old version of Sybase Central.
Hi Marcel
I read in the forum that 9.02 was for the power pc, and that only version 10 supports the intel platform. I tried to install it and get an error, so it must be for the power pc.
What database do you use on Mac intel?

I use Sybase 9 without any issues.
No Sybase Central though but that is due to incompatibility issues I experienced with DreamWeaver…

It is possible to use Sybase Central 9.0.2 with the Mac Intel. You need to connect to the database via jConnect. The default uses the iAnywhere JDBC-ODBC bridge, which fails because the libs were compiled for the PPC. Please take a look at this post: http://forum.servoy.com/viewtopic.php?=&p=36487. It explains how to do this.
