Where is the new version of Servoy?

Hi all,

We are running Servoy Developer Version R2 2.1.2-build 315 Java version 1.5.0_04-b05
(Windows XP)

In Developer I tried Help\Check for new Version, but nothing is happening.
Is the new version of Servoy still there to upgrade?

Download and install Servoy 2.2 manually, then check for autoupdate to version 2.2.1

Is this correct?

Hi all,

I am thinking of taking the plunge and moving to 2.2 as well.

As we purchased the product in January, is it a case that I download the demo and use our existing license key?

I followed the link on the main site but there did not appear to be a facility to advise that you were an existing customer.

No not needed, make a directory and database backup, and install 2.2 ontop of 2.1 (same direcory), start Servoy again and you are done.

You always download the full product which is limited to work for one hour each time its started, unless you enter a valid license key.

Jan,

After downloading Servoy installer V2, I pointed the installer to Servoy 2.1 directory and completed the install, then I started the Servoy, then I checked help\about but it still is Servoy 2.1 version.

Is there a special way do the version 2.0 installation?

Please let me know.

Jan,

I figure out where the problem was.
During the installation if you dont select Runtime Builder, Windows Service, Headless Client API and PDF support, then 2.1 will get upgraded to 2.2 else it will not.
