question about 2.1 beta2 I18n:
1.) Under solution settings, if I choose: I18N Server: CRM
and choose I18N Table messages and click on OK, the dialog won’t close anymore.
2.) Why can I find these properties here?
There are under Preferences too!

The properties under the preferences are for the DEFAULT i18n server connection and table. The settings in the solution settings are so that you can override the default settings for that single solution (it’s a feature, not a bug).
Regarding #1 - sorry, don’t know. Perhaps one of the engineers will respond…

Problem 1) is still there in 2.1rc1: the settings cannot be saved once you start playing with the i18n tables…
do you see a stacktrace in the .log.txt file?
or what do you see when starting with -DSTACKTRACE=TRUE?
nothing in the log, no. But the problem should be easy to produce:
from that point on, hitting “OK” has no effect.
If you don’t touch any of the two i18n popups, you can hit OK.
just tried it with a clean install of 2.1rc1 and with the crm solution
opened the solution, open solution settings, select a server (but no table)
pressed ok
no problem
that is strange…
I just figured you can select the server, but not the messages table. You can set the messages table to none, then you can click OK.
Maybe it is this: I am trying to select the same table that I set under the general prefs. If you disable the OK button on purpose in that situation, then no suprise.
got it reproduced and fixed. (2.1rc3)
The trick was that you had to change the server selection..
Strike!
