I am trying to anchor a button to stay in the middle of the page. If I take all the anchors off of the button, it behaves as if I applied all of the anchors (i.e. the button grows).
Shouldn’t unanchoring the button stop this from occuring. It should just “free float” in the form then.
Anyone else come across this issue, or the solution to this issue?
Note:I tried just setting the bottom anchor only, yet it behaved as if I had the right anchor set as well. The button did not grow, but it anchored to the right side.
There are two ways of setting the achors:
1- rightclick with the mouse on the element and set the anchors
2- through the properties sheet of the element
I have seen behavior that setting the anchor properties through one or the other methods didn’t actually change the settings. If you would change the anchors one way, then look at them the other way, the change was not reflected.
I’m not sure in which version this occured, but at least it was 2.2.2 or greater.
When I wanted to raise a bug, I couldn’t reproduce it.

I am seeing the setting change, or at least making a change in the behavior, but the behavior is not correct. I can readily reproduce this.
