Client start slow after a solution upgrade

I have noticed that after a solution upgrade the startup of the client take 3-4 minutes instead the 20-30 second of a normal startup.
This happen also if I clear the java cache. Is this normal or it is an issue?
Users find this boring.
We are using:
Servoy 3.1.7
Java 1.5.0_11
Oracle 9i

Hi Albace,

What changed in the new release ? Did you make use of new plugins and such?
Also do you make use of (many) modules and did you imported those as well?
What happens when you roll back the release (see servoy admin pages).

Things might slow down a bit when you have many releases of a solution in a repository but 3-4 minutes longer is too much.

Thanks for your replay.
It happen also if I change fews line of code and also if not import the only related module that I have. It is the same if I activate a previous release.
At moment I have 13 release but in other repository I have had 50 release or more and was working well.

I presume, from what you say, this only happens the first time?
If so, I tend to think that this is normal behavior.
The client needs to reload the solution again…
