It would be real nice not to be forced to have a controller always on the right-hand side. I understand that, with Tab Panels, one can do many things to overcome this. However, the history functionality is different when using tab panels in lieu of a controller. I could also get creative an program my way out of this. Just looking for an easy way I guess to have a reusable navigation pane and history functionality.
How about an AWT BorderLayout-style option for controller placement - north, south, east, west?
