Copy & Paste elements from one form to other

Hi,

We know Servoy appends a “c” when we copy an element in the form and paste.

I think this is reasonable only if we paste on the same form but it should not rename the elements when we paste the elements on a different form.

What I do now is I create the very first form where I place all the elements with the correct names. I then want to copy the whole form by CTRL + A and paste on a different form which needs exactly the same look and elements

Would me much helpful and time saving if you can do this

if you really want to copy the complete form. Why not use duplicate form?

Thanks for your reply..

But the forms are already created and some of the elements are still different. Also the elements on the form would be keep changing during the development period. So I cannot simply delete the form and duplicate.

Anyway I think it would be much useful if you do not append the “c”.

Will be so in Servoy 2.5 when pasting on other form
