Duplicating a form bug...

There is a bug in 3.5.7 that occurs with navigation once a form is duplicated.

There is no way to use the yellow back button or the Windows menu, or the ‘Choose form’ dialog from the ‘more’ menu under the Windows menu to go back to the original form that was source of the duplication.

The only way to fix this is quit developer or doing a refresh in the Editor seems to fix the navigation… and the duped ( destination) form seems to show up in the form tree next to the source form and no type of refreshing will alphabetize it.

Probably not serious, but annoying, especially in an age when it’s easier to clone (duplicate) one’s domesticated pet than it is a form in Servoy.

You should add a case in our support system about this.

you are right, and first it was annoying, but there is a workaround,

after the duplicate, go out of design mode and than right back to design-mode.
this will prevent you from closing servoy. :-)

This is so usuall to me, that I don’t find it a bug anymore! ;-)

Hmm, we were promised the same functionality as a minimum.
I hate it when we have to adjust too much :)
