Hi all,
Did any body had a chance to build a bulk email sender “Email Marketing” application.

I know that it is not so hard to build by Servoy, but if any body did, it will be nice to share.

I know of several developers having built a mailing solution of different complexity.
I believe they are all commercial though.
What are your requirements?

Nothing more than the basic one for the timebeing.

However, it is a good idea to have a look on the commercial ones …

We have similar functionality in our internal mailsolution. Because it’s built in Servoy it goes much further than constantContact in terms of integration. It allows for full 100% integration into a CRM and CMS application. Eg: I send out a mailing, on the contact tab in the CRM I can see that mailing was sent to a particular person. If he follows links in that mailing this can be tracked right in the CRM. With ConstantContact you will always have to write your import/export routines for integration.

Because of it’s complexity we don’t have it available as an example solution. It is made available to ISV’s as part of our ISV Program at the moment.
