Empty plugins tree in servoy developer 4.1

I installed Servoy 4.1 on Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex. it was a clean install not an update from a previous version.
I defined a few database servers and imported my solutions, all worked fine.
Except that I have nothing under the plugins tree in developer.
The plugins are present in servoy/application_server/plugins and my solutions work when I launch a client.

Did anyone encoutered a similar problem ?

Weird, can you check the permissions on the plugins folder?

There should be some errors in the logs . Can you check those (servoy_log.txt from application server dir and .log from yourworkspace/.metadata) ?
