I notice on the Eclipse site the release of Ganymede. I am completely new to Eclipse although I installed Europa last year (just didn’t get around to doing much with it since I’m not a programmer).

  1. Will it affect my (separate) Servoy 4 installation to update my main installation of Eclipse to Ganymede?

  2. Will Servoy 4 run within Ganymede?

Apologies if this was already answered in another forum …

The Servoy Eclipse environment is completely stand alone, so updating another Eclipse installation to the Ganymede release should not affect the Servoy installation.

updating servoy to eclipse 3.4 is not yet supported and tested.
There could be some api changes or different behavior that could affect servoy so you shouldnt update servoy to 3.4. We will do that later on.
