We are asked a few questions by one of our prospective client.
The question in what if SERVOY goes out of business?
Do we have to rebuild the system completely in any other programming language?
OR
Can we use Servoy’s java code to build any new functions over the existing servoy project?

There are various ways to migrate Servoy solution to Java as Servoy stores every solution in the repository which essentially describes every part of Servoy.
Concluding: yes, it is doable to migrate to Java (or other tech) if Servoy goes out of business.
Additionally: Servoy is a small but profitable company, financed by it’s owners who also work for Servoy full-time. History shows that these type of companies are the most likely to stay arround.

Now they are the best known (IT) brand name in the world.
